This divine wisdom, which emphasizes the great importance of mothers, is also echoed in the Holy Qur’an, guiding us towards ultimate kindness to parents.

Allah reminds us in the Holy Qur’an: ﴿وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَانًا حَمَلَتْهُ أُمُّهُ كُرْهًا وَوَضَعَتْهُ كُرْهًا وَحَمْلُهُ وَفِصَالُهُ ثَلَاثُونَ شَهْرًا﴾ [الأحقاف: ١٥]. This verse means, ‘We have enjoined upon man kindness to his parents. His mother carried him with difficulty and gave birth to him with difficulty, and his gestation and weaning are thirty months.’ It truly emphasizes the mother’s immense burden, the patience she endures, and the deep respect she deserves.
