He continued to fight until he was severely wounded and fell to the ground, surrounded by the chaos of the battle. His plain garments were torn, and his injuries were evident, but his spirit remained unbroken in this spiritual journey.

At the end of the battle, men from Banī ʿAbd al-Ashhal searched for their fallen. To their amazement, they found الأصِيرِمُ, heavily wounded. They moved with heavy steps, their expressions changing to surprise and concern as they discovered him.

They were puzzled, remembering he had rejected Islam before the fight. Deeply concerned and curious, they asked him: ‘Did you do this out of loyalty to your people, or out of a desire for Islam?’ They sought to understand his sudden, unwavering conviction.

With his last breaths, الأصِيرِمُ replied: ‘No, it was out of a desire for Islam! I believed in Allah and His Messenger, and I submitted!’ His eyes held a clear, sincere, and determined gaze, reflecting his profound declaration of faith.

When they told Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم about الأصِيرِمُ, he declared: ‘Indeed, he is from the people of Paradise!’ This momentous declaration confirmed Al-Usayrim’s ultimate reward for his sincere faith and bravery.
